This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared by Gallery Homes Pty Ltd (ABN 81 151 101 914) and its related bodies corporate and businesses (Gallery) when you visit www.startliving.com.au .
Gallery respects the rights and privacy of all individuals and is committed to complying with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles and protecting the personal information Gallery holds.

 

Personal Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Gallery collects the types of personal information required to assist with providing Gallery products and services and informing you about them.

This includes, through the Collection Channels, personal information such as your name, date of birth, phone number, email and home addresses and information to assist with Gallery’s customer relationship management and market research functions, which may include information relating to your interests, experiences and preferences.

For more specific contracting or finance purposes, Gallery may collect through Collection Channels loan application information, financial / banking information, guarantor / next of kin contact details.

Through Service Provider Channels, Gallery may collect information about your employment or trading history and any business, company or related entity you are involved with.

 

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the Form Details that we collect generally to gauge how we can help you build a home or find a parcel of land to purchase. Gallery may also use your personal information for a further purposes. By submitting your personal information you consent to Gallery using it to:

  1. Communicate with you;
  2. Provide you with products and services;
  3. Complete an activity that you have chosen to undertake;
  4. Administer Gallery’s relationship to you;
  5. Monitor online activity on the Gallery and/or Start Living website(s) and/or applications;
  6. Market, improve and add to Gallery’s products and services (including online);
  7. Respond to a serious threat to an individuals life or to public health and safety;
  8. Respond to suspected unlawful activity; or

Gallery may disclose personal information to other entities in the Gallery Group of companies to help achieve one of the purposes derived above or as required by law.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

The customer acknowledges that to facilitate the provision of the services and obtain necessary information to assist the customer, it may be necessary for Gallery Group (or its employees) to collect, hold and process certain personal information about customer. Gallery Group shall take reasonable steps to protect Personal Information in its possession from unauthorised use, access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. To protect personal information held by Gallery, you may need to confirm your identity before access to your personal information is granted. It may take a little time to process your application for access and retrieve information from storage (if applicable).

Gallery encourages you to update us so that Gallery has accurate, current and complete information. You may correct any errors or request that Gallery deletes all or some of your personal information. You may also submit a request not to have any further contact from us.
